Digital communication has not eliminated the letter. There’s still a place for one of the most traditional forms of delivering a message – text on a sheet of paper.

Letters have a huge variety of uses. They’re used by sales, marketing, public relations, human resources, commercial management and many, many others. They can be addressed to an individual or a group.

To be effective a letter needs to be concise and clear. It must deliver its message with efficient and effective brevity without being terse or unnecessarily blunt.
